Please come join us for our Group Discussion day, moderated by Holly Robbins.
Holly has been studying Non Violent Communication and wanted to kick off these group discussions by talking about civil dialogue itself. Can people with extremely differing beliefs sit down and discuss things? This is important now more than ever. Can your "crazy uncle" whose politics scare you be brought around to have an uplifting, civil discussion, where both of you leave feeling like you've learned from each other and gained more respect for the other? Can this be used to change hearts and minds and bring people together? Holly has been exploring these ideas and wants to have your input on the subject.
Doors open at 1:30 pm for coffee and conversation.
Meeting begins promptly at 2:00 pm.
Childcare is provided. Everyone is welcome!
Bring some food to share if you’d like.
